Bhupender Yadav is Lok Sabha member from Alwar, Rajasthan. Born in Ajmer on June 30, 1969, he is currently the Union Cabinet Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
In 2000, Bhupender Yadav, an erudite advocate, was appointed the General Secretary of the Akhil Bharatiya Adhivakta Parishad and held the position till 2009. In 2010, he was appointed as National Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party. In 2014, he took charge as National General Secretary of the BJP.
Shri Yadav is an organisational leader who has shouldered party’s election responsibility in multiple state elections. Shri Yadav was BJP’s election in-charge for the Assembly polls of Maharashtra (2024), Madhya Pradesh (2023), Manipur (2022), Bihar (2020), Jharkhand (2014), and Rajasthan (2013). He was also in-charge for the 2019 Lok Sabha election.
